For sale is Contessa Julia, a 1973 build from Jeremy Rogers with a self draining cockpit. This would be our 7th season with her, but ‘unfortunately’ life with a toddler forces sale. Currently on the hard at Sparkes Marina, Chichester Harbour.

Asking: £10,000

She has been well suited to the coastal adventures and weekends away that we’ve asked of her, I’m sure she would take you as far as you seek.

Julia was purchased by me in April 2018, out of Howth YC, Dublin. I sailed her down the Irish coast to Kilmore Quay and then over to Falmouth where she spent the first season around the Fal and Helford. At the beginning of the 2019 season we enjoyed several day-sails up the coast toward the Solent, finishing at Cowes in April — where she spent several seasons. Last season we tried a Chichester mooring with a view to quieter family sailing.

Contessa Julia is the original boat name and sail number “CO1234”; we hold the ownership history (via bills of sale and the ships register) going back to 1973.
