The second Contessa 26 North Sea Rally is to be held on 5th to 7th July 2019 this time in the UK in the North Essex / Suffolk rivers. The UK fleet looks forward to meeting our Dutch friend Rob Kolster again and to welcoming him and other entrants who are sailing over from Holland.
The provisional programme is as follows:
5th July – Meet at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club at Wolverstone, mooring on their club marina pontoon and supper in the clubhouse.
6th July – Informal race / cruise in the River Orwell and Dovercourt Bay and return to Ipswich.
7th July – Cruise to the delightful River Deben. Entrants having taken care and pre-researched the entrance across the shingle bar sail up the river to Woodbridge. Locking in near high water and mooring in the Tide Mill marina near the pretty town centre. An ideal venue to start or combine with an East Coast cruise.
