At long last these last few weeks have heralded some proper spring weather, or are we catapulted into summer. What an interesting time for climatic weather watchers and we hope that your fitting out is now (or is about to be) concluded. We are looking forward to seeing some 26s on the water.
Here is some updated information on some up and coming events: –
Racing Events and opening of Entries.
First of all entries are open for our Nationals to be submitted electronically to Island Sailing Club, it’s on 1 – 2 September and we look forward to seeing you there. All information remains as published and on the Island Sailing Club web site. There are our traditional 3 classes and its good time to get those entries in. Click here to enter. As an Association we are supporting the Cowes Classic Week which starts on Monday 18th July and finishes on Friday 22nd July. We have 5 boats interested. Entries to be sent to Royal London Yacht Club. Click here for more information.
Also on our list of events recommended for support are the Taittinger Regatta (20 – 22 July) out of Yarmouth and Hamble Classics Regatta (15 and 16 September). Both are taking entries. They are both worthy of Class support. Click here for more information.
South Coast Cruise 1st – 3rd June – This event was a great sucess, with 10 Contessa 26s cruising in company. We will post the images soon!
