Saunders Furling Genoa – £200
The genoa was absolutely brand new and unused when I bought my Contessa two and a half years ago.
Stopped using the genoa July (08) when I took delivery of a new North genoa, so the Sanders genoa only had a year and a half's use. The only time it was ever used in windy conditions was during the Round the Island race 2008. With that genoa we won the Contessa 26 class and were 4th overall. Swapping for a North sail had nothing to do with the quality of the Sanders, it's just that I have a long standing relationship with Norths.
