Many congratulations to Sarah and Ross Appleby in High Potential, winners of the Gold Roman Bowl for 1st overall in this years Round the Island Race at the weekend. Also congratulations to new member George Smith in Brizo who finished 3rd overall in Brizo, his first RIR in the boat.
10 boats entered, it was a long slow day. Unfortunately there were a number of retirements partly due in the ISCRS fleet to the start time being ambitious to get to the Needles before the early flood started. In fact in the whole race fleet of 1204 boats there were 470 retirements.
The results of those finishing were very good indeed and in full were:
