The CO 26 Class Association is incorporated and membership is open to Contessa 26 owners and those who are interested in the Contessa 26.
The Contessa 26 is a small classic yacht that has stood the test of time so well.
The first boat was launched in April 1966 and the class has an impressive history including trans-ocean and global passages.

I am Jeremy’s widow and mother of his three sons, Simon, Kit and David. I was the editor of the 50th anniversary book, and have an in depth knowledge of the Contessa 26 history.

Honorary Secretary
I am very pleased to have been asked to represent the Association as Honorary Secretary in 2024. I hope to continue the good work of the outgoing Hon Sec. Chris Charlesworth who did so much to enhance the image and presence of the Association. I am also indebted to the members of our committee for their help and continued commitment during this transition.
I live on the Isle of Wight near Yarmouth, and am currently Captain of Cruiser Racers at the Royal Solent Yacht Club. I sail Alboran, unusually in these waters a JJ Taylor C26 built in 1976.
